J’adore is one of Christian Dior’s more recent classics, but a classic nevertheless. And even after a decade it still feels as new and chic as it did way back when. The basic formula for J’adore, due of course to the perfumes great popularity has been reused by Dior as the base for many other Dior fragrances that share the J’adore line. J’adore was always supposed to be a classic perfume, the scent kicks off with a sweet bust of mandarin that is as sharp as it is sugary, cutting its way through the top part of the scent and on into the more delicate floral heart notes. The notes are as follows: Mandarin, Damascus Plum, Champaca Flowers, Amaranth Wood, African Orchid, Ivy, Rose, Violet, Blackberry Musk. Jasmine, plum, orchid and citrus. The heart notes in J’adore centre on rose, which in turn moves off into a truly luxurious finish with blackberry, amaranth, and musk bringing everything home in the most delicious and sensuous way.
