This is one of the more popular Cool Water spin off scents and is supposedly inspired by the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite. As with all the fragrances in the Cool Water lineup, this one being no exception, fresh is the main area of concern. Think turquoise waters, cool breezes and the feel of summer sun on your face. Cool Water Wave comes on strong with a complex blend of fruits and florals. These then are bended together with prominent notes of datura and freesia immediately coming to the fore along with rich succulent fruits like guava and mango. The richer fruits are paired and softened by less lively fruity flavors such as watermelon, which helps water down the richness of the head notes as the scent moves on into the heart of the fragrance. as the perfume moves into its middle phase. The bottom half is made from iris, amber and sandalwood, bringing everything together in such a great way that helps soften and ground the sweeter fruits and flowers that compose it. This is definitely not as iconic a scent as the original cool water, but it certainly works well and is not as instantly recognizable which for many people is a good thing.
