This perfume was released in 2007 in a beautiful textured red bottle that evokes a sense of luxury and sophistication, while also telling you that this is definitely a night scent. The notes are blackcurrant, plum, almond blossom, eglantine rose, red pepper, lily of the valley, sandalwood, mahogany, hazelnut and musk. Escada fragrances tend to be quite sweet in nature, but this one, even with its blackcurrant and plum notes remains a little more restrained that what you may have come to expect from Escada. It opens with sweet notes of blackcurrant and plum but they are not sugary sweet and have a very reassuring tart quality to them that I personally found delicious and intriguing. The rest of the scent gathers itself around a heart that is composed overwhelmingly of rose, with the odd lily of the valley and almond blossom bloom here and there adding character to the rose center. These lovely florals are then seasoned by a touch or red pepper and is brought doen smoulderingly with a sexy musk and earth wood accord, with just the vaguest suggestion of hazelnut as the scent is almost gone completely.
