This more than half a century old classic from the German firm Maurer & Wirtz has stood the test of time, the change of trends and the development of the perfume industry we know today and is still every bit as interesting and original as it was more than fifty years ago. It featured lemon, bergamot, black pepper, neroli, aldehydes, petit grain, geranium, chamomile, carnation,oak wood absolute, lavender, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, and ambergris and opens with a very understated and creamy orange blossom notes, lemon is then added to sharpen up the opening and then warmed up by a sprinkle of pepper. Carnation, geranium and lavender give Tabac Original its distinct floral heart, which moves into a gentle musk cloves and vanilla base which provides a lovely and delicate finish to this classic male cologne
